Pre-Marital Preparation
-Be sure to read testimony below!
I meet with you once
per week for at least eight weeks ($75 per one hour session) where we
discuss the differences you have based on the pre-marital on-line
inventory ($25 each) that you each have taken. Our sessions are not
counseling sessions but rather marriage education sessions. There
are 6 homework sessions per week (5 that you do separately and one you do
with your fiancé) from a faith-based marriage preparation workbook ($32.63
each).
The
Pre-marital Program includes:
Administer Foccus
Inventory and delivery of 2 faith-based pre-marital workbooks. The
premarital couple does not get to keep the inventory results and
showing of the inventory results is at the discretion of Married 4
Keeps. Each named party agrees that their results can be shown to the
other party.
Session One: Readiness Issues,
Marriage Covenant Issues, and Lay the Foundation for a Life Long
Marriage.
Session Two: Personality Match, Personal Issues, and
Discover God’s Gift to You and Your Mate.
Session Three: Lifestyle Expectations, Extended Family
Issues, and Survive a Positive Identity Change.
Session Four: Communication, Problem Solving, and Fight
With Your Mate & Please God too.
Session Five: Friends and Interests, Dual Careers, and
Ensure the I Do’s Last a Lifetime.
Session Six: Religion and Values, Family of Origin, and
Walk on the Spiritual Side of Marriage.
Session Seven: Financial, Parenting, and Plan for Your
Future Together.
Session Eight: Sexuality, Key Problem Indicators, and
Prepare the Marriage Bed for a Lifetime of Pleasure. Emphasis on
Key Problem Indicators and catch-up on prior sessions.
The Cost of the program:
2 on-line pre-marital inventory $25
each (Total $50)
2 faith-based workbook $32.63 each
(Total $65.26)
8 one hour sessions $75 per session
(Total $600). $75 due at each session
Total due in advance $115.26 (books
and inventories). Balance $600 for sessions.
Total for entire program $715.26
assuming no extra sessions are not necessary or desired. You can
stop the program at any time without owing for future sessions. No
refunds for workbooks or inventories. Marriage educator does not
evaluate the potential success of your marriage.
I found
our pre-marital preparation experience to be very valuable. Not only did
it strengthen my resolve to marry Beth, but it helped us to explore
portions of each others personality, life experiences and expectations
that otherwise we might not have been able to access. I thank you for
making this available to us and would unhesitatingly recommend it to any
couple considering marriage whether in a religious setting or secular.

Initially I didn't see the need for premarital education, but agreed to it
because my fiancé felt strongly about it. Married4Keeps was an extremely
worthwhile investment. It identified potential "hot spots" in our
relationship, gave us tools and skills to use, got us talking about
subjects you just don't know how to bring up, and deepened the emotional
bond between us. Ken was a great facilitator and was very flexible in
working with our very hectic schedules. I would recommend this program to
everyone considering marriage.
The
greatest thing about this class, in our opinion,is
how all three parts work together to fish out the
couple's scary thoughts that both parties are
reluctant to discuss. It also exposed so many things
we didn't know about each other, things we never
thought to ask. We now feel confident in discussing
important, or touchy subjects, and the lessons we have
learned are now habit. We wish everyone had to do this
before they walked down the aisle-there would be many
fewer divorces and more happy families! We are very
glad we found you!
